Kids Bike Library

Wednesday, August 1, 2018, 10:00am - 6:00pm. Free kids bike tune-ups from 4pm - 6pm.

By: AMS Bike Co-op and Bike KitchenThe Kids Bike Library (KBL) is similar to a regular library, but with bikes! During the summer on Wednesdays from 10:00am – 6:00pm, kids and youth can come trade a bike they have outgrown for one their size (includes bikes with 20” wheels or smaller). Unlike a regular library, you can keep the bike for as long as you need it without having to worry about renewing. Don’t have a bike? No problem! Soft Serve Wednesday Bike Polo

Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 6:00pm. Games usually wrap up at dusk, depending on number and keenness of attendees.

By: East Van Bike PoloSoft Serve Wednesdays is East Van Bike Polo's program for newer and casual players, held at Grandview Park on Sundays from 6 PM onwards, weather permitting. Court time for new players is prioritized, although regulars will be on hand to provide loaner gear and nerd out about polo. OCB WTQ Night

By: Our Community BikesTwice a month Our Community Bikes (OCB) open our doors after hours to women, trans and queer identifying people to use the shop. It’s a welcoming space for people who may feel less comfortable in the male dominated realms of cycling and mechanics. At WTQ night tool and stand rental are free! Just bring your bike down and our mechanics will be on hand to support you with your repair.

First Wednesday Ride

Ride departs just after 8:00. Easy cruise around the Stanley Park Seawall with a stop at the 9 O'clock Gun. All bikes and riders welcome!

Vancouver Mural Festival Bike Ride (Guided Group Tour)

Together with Vancouver Mural Festival, we have hand-picked the best route to go to as many murals as possible. We will start at the Mobi by Shaw Go station at 10th & Cambie at 10am. From there, we will ride through Mount Pleasant on our way to Strathcona. We will end our ride at the Mobi by Shaw Go station at Cambie and Water. Purple & Yellow Volunteer Night

From building, maintenance to painting the bikes with their signature colours, its a fun way to get involved and learn about bike mechanics. No experience needed – we'll teach you! There’s no need to sign up beforehand, just drop in. All volunteers are provided with a free pizza dinner.
