All levels welcome, all encouraged; we go as fast as our slowest rider and no one gets left behind! We ride rain or shine, all year round, every Thursday. Anywhere from 6 to 30 riders, BRS is a weekly adventure built for good convo, steady peddling and roads less travelled and/or well loved. Soft Serve Wednesday Bike Polo

Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 5:00pm. Games usually start at 5:30-6pm and wrap up at dusk, depending on number and keenness of attendees.

By: East Van Bike PoloEast Van Bike Polo presents Soft Serve Wednesday. Please invite all the new & aspiring players ! This is your chance to take your first steps & get your POLO started. Court time for new players is prioritized, although regulars will be on hand to provide loaner gear and nerd out about polo. You can play a few non-competitive games of pick-up, or just to say hi and check things out. Bring your friends, too! You can use your own bike, or borrow one at the loaner bikes. Loaner mallets will be provided as well.

Gender Liberation Night at the Bike Kitchen

By: Bike KitchenGender Liberation Night is a monthly Access Night for cis-women and trans and/or non-binary people of all genders to use the UBC Bike Kitchen’s shop space and tools, supported by informal mentoring. The purpose of the night is to offer a more welcoming, safer atmosphere in which people who are typically marginalized within the cycling community because of their gender identity and/or expression can work on their bikes, learn mechanics, and form connections.
