This ride is to get people out and riding. Great way to meet new people. It's a leisure ride, no pressure. Sorry, I have no idea where or how long the ride will be. By: PEDALOffered by PEDAL (Pedal Energy Development Alternatives), an organization that develops and promotes the use of pedal powered technology, the workshop is for individuals interested in learning in a more structured, classroom like way. The course covers drivetrain maintenance, brake and gear adjustment and flat tire repair. Courses are held at Our Community Bikes, 3283 Main Street near 17th Avenue, on the first Thursday of every month from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. By: It's a leisure ride, no pressure.Weekly Saturday rides, starting out from Cap's Bicycle Shop in Sapperton at 8am sharp. Try to get there early, because the ride leaves right at 8am. If you're taking the skytain, get off at Sapperton Station – it's less of a hill to climb. This ride is to get people out and riding. And is a great way to meet new people.

By: Richard Edge*Leisure – Easy (15-22 kph)* A leisurely pace and a distance of 20 km. Includes rollers and mild hills (3-4% grade). Re-group at hills and/or for slower riders if group spreads out. No one left behind and children are welcome. We ride from historic Fort Langley, the birthplace of BC, to Derby Reach and back via the Fort to Fort Trail. Mountain bikes or hybrids best suited for this ride. Recumbents are welcome and encouraged.
