By: For more information, ContactIf you are up for helping to organize this year's World Naked Bike Ride, there will be a meeting at the Foxy House on Wednesday. The World Naked bike Ride is the biggest and most fun protest against car culture on this or any other planet in this solar system. That includes Mars and even Pluto. We need as much help as possible. This year our plan is to make the ride so much fun, that nobody in the city will ever want to drive a car again!

By: It's a leisure ride, no pressure.Weekly Saturday rides, starting out from Cap's Bicycle Shop in Sapperton at 8am sharp. Try to get there early, because the ride leaves right at 8am. If you're taking the skytain, get off at Sapperton Station – it's less of a hill to climb. This ride is to get people out and riding. And is a great way to meet new people.

We'll wash and lube your bike, plus give it a thorough mechanical inspection. If you're really feeling generous, we can take care of minor tune-ups as well. There will also be baked goodies and refreshments!

By: TerryThe VACC (Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition) in Vancouver occasionally hosts assessment rides of the local bicycle network and provides input to the city. With your help, the VACC assesses cycling conditions and provides the city with constructive feedback from a cyclist’s perspective. The next VACC assessment ride continues on Ontario Street south of 29th Avenue. These rides are quite slow and chatty, and open to all.
