All levels welcome, all encouraged; we go as fast as our slowest rider and no one gets left behind! We ride rain or shine, all year round, every Thursday. Anywhere from 6 to 30 riders, BRS is a weekly adventure built for good convo, steady peddling and roads less travelled and/or well loved. By: East Van Bike PoloEast Van Bike Polo presents Soft Serve Wednesday. Please invite all the new & aspiring players ! This is your chance to take your first steps & get your POLO started. Court time for new players is prioritized, although regulars will be on hand to provide loaner gear and nerd out about polo. You can play a few non-competitive games of pick-up, or just to say hi and check things out. Bring your friends, too! You can use your own bike, or borrow one at the loaner bikes. Loaner mallets will be provided as well.

Pride Access Night at the Bike Kitchen

By: the Bike KitchenPride Night is a monthly Access Night that provides a positive space for anyone in LGBTQ2S+ community to use our shop resources for free in a relaxed environment facilitated by queer mechanics and volunteers. Bring your own bike, come with questions and ask away, play games or just come hang out with other community members. Beginners are always welcome! Gender and sexuality will not be policed at this event. We ask those who do not identify as part of the LGBTQ2I+ community to come by for DIY repairs any time during our normal open hours.
