Art Wheelers: Bicycle Tours of Public Art

By: Art WheelersArt Wheelers offers bicycle-led guided tours of Vancouver’s public art. A variety of tour themes will be offered, each telling a unique story about Vancouver’s identity and history through its public art. The changing bike routes offer Vancouver’s citizens and visitors the opportunity to explore the city in new and exciting ways, while educating participants about the city’s Public Art program and the international and local artists engaged. Masks, sombreros, dancing girls, donkeys (there will be many!) and summer shenanigans. Masks are a must for this theme. This will turn out to be a giant….ride on, right on!

VBC Medium Rides

Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 9:30am. Meeting times vary between 9 and 10 am.

Repeats: Every Sunday

By: Vancouver Bicycle ClubRoad rides of medium pace and distances between 60 to 100km for experienced cyclists. We stop for lunch at the half way point, often at a pub. Helmets are required for all VBC rides.
