The ride may be canceled due if heavy rain.

The curse of the Creaking Planks will begin the evening. The wizard known as Timothy Wisdom will cast spells until the late hours. Potions will be drunk, demons gate spells will be cast and humans (people who forget to come in costume) will be feasted upon.

If you're taking the skytain, get off at Sapperton Station – it's less of a hill to climb. This ride is to get people out and riding. And is a great way to meet new people.

By: Richard Edge*Leisure – Easy (15-22 kph)* A leisurely pace and a distance of 20 km. Includes rollers and mild hills (3-4% grade). Re-group at hills and/or for slower riders if group spreads out. No one left behind and children are welcome. We ride from historic Fort Langley, the birthplace of BC, to Derby Reach and back via the Fort to Fort Trail. Mountain bikes or hybrids best suited for this ride. Recumbents are welcome and encouraged.
